Itanagar, April 4(MIC): The All Arunachal Pradesh Students’’ Union (AAPSU) has expressed concern over the reported move of Nagaland People’s Front (NPF) to launch its unit in the state. AAPSU president Takam Tatung in a communiqué today urged NPF to refrain from dividing people of Arunachal on communal line.
“The move of NPF to form its party unit in Arunachal is unacceptable to the people of Arunachal,” he said. Questioning the motive behind the move, Tatung said, “NPF is planning to start its state unit claiming that Nagas live in Tirap and Changlang districts.” But as per our knowledge, all the tribes living in these two districts are Arunachalee tribals and have nothing to do with Nagas of Nagaland or Manipur.
