Three cadres of KCP (Noyon) were apprehended by a combined team of Thoubal Commandos and 15th AR from Yairipok Yambem yesterday.
Those arrested were identified as A. Boy Sharma (31), Yambem Mayai Leikai, S. Milan (26) S. Kumar (30) Yambem Makha Leikai.
S. Kumar is now serving as VDF at Ngariyan PS, one 32 pistol having three rounds and one Chinese hand grenade were seized from Suresh. A cadre of NSCN (K) was also arrested by a combined force of Imphal east commando and 22th Grenadier from KR Lane on February 18 around 7.30 p.m.
A 32 pistol with four rounds was seized from him. The accused was identified as Sumpiwarngam alias Koko Wangam (31) Wangchan Village, Chandel.
The accused who is now working under one S/S Sg. Major get training at Chamahu Village, Burma.
Imphal east commandos also nabbed a cadre of PULF from Lilong Mairelkhul. The apprehendee was identified as Md. Nasir Khan alias Khan (41), Lilong Chingkham makha Leikai. A pistol was seized from him.
