IMPHAL, Mar 22: The Liangmai Tribe Recognition Thanksgiving Program was celebrated on March 21 at Tamei HQ (Namraining). The function was attained by Mani Charenamei, former MP (II-Outer Manipur) and rev Z Mairilungbou Niumai, executive secretary as chief guest and administrator respectively.
Textbooks in Liangmai dialects for class 2 to 5 which is to be introduced in schools from the current session 2012 and Tachiang tu Phuibo Khuang (Customary Law Research Book) by Th. Tunchapbou was also released by rev Dr H Newmei, ex president, LNBA(M) during the function.
