Imphal, Apr 6: One legal aid clinic each were opened at Malom and Cheirap Court Complex, Uripok by Justice of Supreme Court.
Altmas Kabir , Gyan Sudha Nishra , AK Goil, Justice, Supreme Court, Chief Justice of Andhra Pradesh high Court Madan B. Lokur, Chief justice of Kearla High court Manjula Chelur, retd. Justice of Supreme Court HK Singh, Justice, Guwahati High Court, TNK Singh attended the function held at Malom.
Speaking on the occasion, justice Altmas Kabir said, the clinic opened today will provide justice to all. The clinic has the objective to provide free legal aid to Citizens.
Legal documents will also be distributed to the people. The clinic will be useless if it is non functional. Justice AK Goil also said, people don’t know their rights and don’t know whom to reort and where. After thoroughly examined the clinic, complains can be lodged with concerned authority.
Later and interaction programme was also held between the dignitaries and people of Malom. Justice Altmas Kabir also opened a legal aid clinic at Cheirap Court Complex.
