Imphal, June 10 : As per the report of the north eastern regional load despatch centre, Shillong, Manipur is allotted 115 mw of power while the drawal is 47 mw at 8 am as per data for July 11. The uses is just 49 percent while the uses for Mizoram is 98 percent and Meghalaya is 91 percent. At 8 am Manipur is allotted 115 MW and only 69 is used when state like Assam uses all the 655 MW allotted. State like Arunachal take 89 MW when only 87 was allotted. Nagaland also takes 54 when only 51 was allotted and Tripura drew 48 when 41 was allotted.
As per the data regarding total uses Manipur was given 2640 mw and only 1507 mw was used. Where has the unused power gone ?
Regarding Loktak power station in Oct , Nov and Dec which are lean season the NHPC was supposed to draw only about 30 mw but upto 77 mw was drawn while will lead to low production in Jan, Feb , March. The state of affairs is not good and the huge drawal of power during lean season will lead to decline in production.
