Imphal, July 4 NNN: The All Manipur Tribal Union (AMTU), Tamenglone Zone has on Wednesday urged the concerned authority for immediate cancellation of the DPC held for recruitment of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan assistant teachers under Autonomous District Council, Tamenlong.
The AMTU alleged that ADC, Tamenglong has violated the rule and regulation of the Right to Education while recruiting SSA assistant teacher in respect of ADC Tamenglong.
The tribal union is unhappy over the alleged fraudulent recruitment procedure of the recently conducted DPC for SSA assistant teachers under ADC, Tamenglong.
AMTU also alleged that the concerned authority has favoured some particular candidates for their self gain in the recent recruitment procedure of SSA assistant teachers which is not acceptable to the public.
It also demanded for a fresh DPC for recruitment of SSA assistant teachers for the ADC as soon as possible on the larger interest of the public warning that AMTU will seek legal help from the law court and at the same time will launch stern agitation if the authority fails to meet the demand. The CEO, Tamenglong ADC should be the sole responsibility for any eventuality, AMTU added.
