Imphal, Aug 9 : A two day workshop on Health concluded today at Lamyanba Sanglen ,Palace Compound lmphal.lt was jointly organized by Song and Drama Division Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Government of India and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Government of India New Delhi.
Among the today speaker Dr.P.Binata Deputy Director Family welfare services Manipur appealed to the youth to stick the prescribed age for marriage. About 21 to 25 year of age is the right time for marriage. Those who were married before 18 years of ages specially female, have high risk.
Dr R.K.Laksana SPO,RNTCP appealed to the public for timely treatment of T.B.He said it can be easily cured in the right time .Medicine and treatment were free in Government hospitals. He added those who suffer from cough for one week,chest pain feeling ,no sound sleep, and fever during night can go to T.B.Hospital for test of the disease, AII medicine are to be provided in free. Dr R,K Kumarjit SPO mental Health explained in detailed regarding mental health.
Dr.kh.Kaminibabu SPO. Natinal Blindnes Control Programmes further is seeking cooperation of the artists and media for successful implementation of Blindness Control Progammes in the country.
According a source ,21 cultural troups including three from Nagaland will perform 330 progammes in Nagaland and 270 programmes in Manipur.
