Imphal, Aug 27: This is to the doubts in people’s mind regarding the Eastern Nagaland People’s (ENPO) and eastern Naga national workers association ENNWA). When East India company came, the British administered only one fourth (1/4) of Nagaland as they surveyed only up to that. When they left India, they named the part of our land as un-controlled and un-administered area that is Naga Hills Tuensang area (NHTA) that is presently the Eastern Nagaland people’s organization (ENPO) jurisdiction and the recent demand of frontier Nagaland is purely between ENPO and Delhi. This is a people’s movement as ENPO represents the entire people of eastern Nagaland. ENNWA stands for eastern Naga national workers association (ENNWA) please note that ENNWA is purely an association and not a Government.
This association is formed by the eastern Nagas as usually said and commonly called by the Britishers as free Nagas and it functions under the umbrella of Government of the People’s Republic of Nagaland (GPRN) under the leadership of his Excellency S.S. Khaplang. ENNWA was formed by the to be a pillar of sovereignty where the entire Nagas spread far and near to come in unison for a common cause and in no way an institution of division, whether advance or backward and spread in different directions the lands that the Nagas have inhabited is called said a press hand out issued by Maj.
