The Manipur University under the aegis of Association of Indian Universities will organize the 26th Inter-college Youth Festival 2012 on October 27-29 at the varsity.
Informing this to journalists at the varsity’s Student Home on Thursday, Dr L Vishwanath, cultural coordinator, MU said the festival which is held every year will continue for three days this year during which gala performance and competition will be held in five disciplines including music, dance, literary, theatre and fine arts.
Talented individuals who are selected in the different events will take part at the East Zone Festival to be held at Ranchi in the first week of December, he further informed, saying they will further participate at the national level youth festival to be held in January at Kalyani University. After this, the selected individuals will again participate at the international level festival, he added.
Vishwanath also appealed to all the hill students for full participation at the festival.
