MNS: The yearlong Golden Jubilee celebration of the Manipuri Jagoi Marup concluded yesterday at the Golden Jubilee Stage at its complex at Lamboikhongnangkhong with the presentation of Shri Krishna Balya. Leela. L.Nandakumar MLA, Dr.K.Sobita Director, Art and Culture Department Government of Manipur graced the closing function as Chief Guest and President.
Floral tributes was offered to the potariat of the founder and other Gurus and former associates of the Marup. During the year long celebration the Marup organised various programmes inside and outside the state. It may be noted here that Manipuri Jagoi Marup is one of the oldest Manipuri performing group of the country founded by late Guru Amubi Padamashree awardee.
