NEW DELHI, May 24 (Agencies): The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will declare the results of Class 12 on Monday, an official statement said.

The results will be declared at 10 am, and will be available online on www.results.nic.in; www.cbseresults.nic.in and www.cbse.nic.in.

The results will also be available through interactive voice response system (IVRS) at a charge of 30 paise per minute. The numbers will be available on CBSE website.

The Class 12 board exams were conducted between March 1 and April 17 this year.

LAMKA, May 24: A press release from Franky Singson Dy defence Secretary IPR United Tribal Liberation Army (UTLA)/KNO General headquarters Manipur has said that the message conveyed to some Imphal based newspapers by  SK Thadou are untrue.

It said that most of what he had said to the press are empty promises/policies. It continued that the statements of SK Thadou are mere words from his personal side and not that of UTLA and that there is no value to what he said.

It continued that the real name of SK Thadou is Ilung Kaikhapau and maintained that he was never a member of UTLA in the first place.

The press release continued that SK Thadou is wanted by all the organizations attach to the KNO arm wings and who ever give him shelter and give him aid will be liable to face consequences.

IMPHAL, May 24: The dead body of a man kept at the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) morgue for verification from yesterday after being found by locals of Kwakeithel Thounaojam Leikai has been identified by family members today. The body was handed over to them after post mortem was conducted.

The deceased has been identified as Thangjam Babu (55) son of Late of Hemo of Sagolband Thangjam Leirak at present, Keibung Oinam Leirak.

According to the family members, Babu had set out from his present home located at Keibung Oinam Leikai on 21 May at around 2 pm saying that he was going to his original home, after which he failed to come back.

2013-2014 onwards, said a statement of the Addl Direcot of University and Hr Education..

It has further requested all the Principals of Govt/Govt Aided Colleges and 2(two) representatives each of the Students` Organizations (Hill & Valley) of Manipur to attend the meeting in time for fruitful discussions.

IMPHAL, May 24: The Langmei (Ritiang.Chiang) Village Authority has notified to the DIET Dept. of Tamei H.Q that the village council has decided to take the responsibility to take stern action against any groups or individual creating problems and harassment for all institutes within the jurisdiction of the village  and to promote and cultivate a true quality education for the welfare of the people.

It has also appealed to all the faculty of the department and the students to perform their duties sincerely and punctually to bring quality education for the people

The Council has also further appealed to the DIET Department Govt. of Manipur to take the necessary steps for the re-construction of fencing which was demolished due to ongoing double Lanning of Tamei-Tamenglong road, it said.
