IMPHAL, July 8: The Buddist’s Council Manipur has today issued a press release that a meeting was held at the office of the Buddist’s Council Manipur presided by its president Salam Bharat Bhusan condemning the serial bomb blast inside the Mahabodhi Temple at Bodhagaya, Bihar which caused threat to the peace loving Buddist people who are leading a simple peaceful life.
The press release further said that such act of violence against the non-violence loving Buddist people is an act of conspiracy by the violence loving people to make hatred among humanity adding that it is the historic place of 2600 years old Mahabodhi Temple which was constructed by Ashoka the Great and where Guatam Sidhartha got enlightenment, it said.
