IMPHAL, July 22: The Minority Cell, Manipur People’s Party has today said in a press release that the Govt of Manipur should find an amicable solution at the earliest to avoid the 48 hours bandh which has been called when the world over, Muslims are celebrating Ramzan.
It has further demanded the government to book the culprits on the incident of firing in which Md Naimudding was allegedly killed and other eight people injured.
The press release urged the state Home Minister Gaikhangam to find a solution to avoid the 48 hours bandh while continuing to say that the bandh will only worsen the already tensed present situation at the continuing blockage of the Imphal-Dimapur stretch of national highway due to sinking of landmass near Kohima for the last one week, it said.
