Imphal Aug 5 UNA : The Kuki State Demand Committee (KSDC) has fully prepared for another face of agitation within a day or two and it may be the last resort said T.S. Kuki, vice chairman of the demand committee on Monday.
The vice chairman of the KSDC was speaking to a selective media persons here in Imphal after the meeting of the KSDC executive at Churachandpur.
The Kuki has been demand for a statehood since 1960 by the then Kuki
National Assembly (KNA) when Jawaharlal Nehru was the prime minister of India added T.S. Kuki.
The Government of India has been neglecting the Kukis for nearly 60 years from now but for the first time an intimation has been given by the government of Manipur through the then DS Poonia, on last 22nd November 2012 but till today not a single positive step has been taken up.
Kuki has never sign an agreement or a merger with the government of India till date, but our demand is not to disintegrate the Indian integrity but for a better administration added T.S. Kuki.
