The sadbhabna diwas was celebrated at secretariat south block today.
Speaking on the occasion, the CM of Manipur Shri O. Ibobi said the day is being observed in order to tighten the oneness of India in this secular Country.
He also appealed the gathering to take pledge for a unity India. The dy. CM Shri Gaikhangam presided over the function. Ministers Dr. Kh. Ratan Kumar, A.K. Mirabai, parliamentary secy. Vungjagin valte, CS, DGP and other officials attended the function.
In connection with the 69th birth anniversary of late Rajiv Gandhi, the Ekta dewas organized by All India Congress social organization Manipur state was observed today at GM Hall. Dr. Kh. Ratankumar minister works, E. Chand MLA, K. Devendro MLA, K. Babudhon ex speaker graced the occasion as chief guest, president and guests of honour.
Speaking the occasion Kh. Ratankumar said that Rajiv Gandhi was the most energetic Prime Minister of India. He had a vision of today India. He had inaugurated many schemes.’ He said violence cannot bring peace and development.
