IMPHAL, May 3: The Manipur Network of Positive People (MNP+) organized a `One Day Health Camp and Drawing Competition` for children living with HIV/AIDS in relation with the World AIDS Orphan Day today under SR Vihaan project at its office Conferences Hall, Yaiskul Hiruhanba Leikai.

Altogether, 80 children took the privileges extended at medical camps organised by the organisation at Imphal East, Imphal West, and Bishnupur District.

Speaking to the media person president MNP+ L Deepak said that organizing such health camps and drawing competition is made possible by the support from HOD Pediatric Department RIMS Dr L Ranbir Singh.

He further said that Dr Ranbir also helped 20 affected children since the last two years in partnership with MNP+, SR Vihaan Project team Advocacy officer.

Deepak also said Dr Ranbir Singh has also been a valuable adviser to MNP+ in establishing a trust for the welfare of the HIV/AIDS affected children of Manipur.

Deepak further said that the organisation now looks forward to organizing the health camp and drawing competition to motivate affected children and to extend health services to them at least thrice a year.

He appealed to parents to come forward and test have their children tested so that if found positive, ART therapy can be given to them free of cost.
