IMPHAL, November 14: The Mahabali Mathenmei Fom has vehemently condemned the blast at a private residence at Mahabali Kabui Village on November 11 around 8.30 pm injuring owner of the house identified as Asiho Kamei on his head.
In a press note, the organization termed the act as mindless and asked what will happen if the blast inflicts injuries to innocent children and women of the village.
Even if the family is guilty, the matter should be conveyed to the village court at first for further necessary steps to be taken up, it said.
The organization also appealed to the concerned individual or organization to publicly clarify why the act was committed.
The Zeliangrong Youth Front has also strongly condemned the bomb explosion on November 11.
A statement of the front said that the village is not far from the main venue of the Manipur Sangai Festival and an elaborate security measure has been put in place in the area.
Triggering such an explosion inside a private residence is a senseless and act of terror which shows total dishonour of human lives, it said.
It is also a violation of human rights and an act committed only by terrorist groups, it said.
`The Zeliangrong Youth Front expressed extreme resentment against the responsible organization or group for triggering such a powerful explosion inside a private residence without informing the Zeliangrong Youth Front and other community based organizations before such drastic step was taken up had there been any mistake or faults committed by the owner of the house,` it said.
The responsible organization or group has not given any reason for the explosion till date it said, and demanded a proper clarification at the earliest.
