IMPHAL, May 21: Acting on a specific information about the presence of an active member of PREPAK (VC) organisation in and around Sawombung, a team of Imphal East district police commando rushed to the said area and launched a counter insurgency operation and arrested one active member of PREPAK (VC) identified as Nongmaithem Shyam alias Chinglen alias Ahan (51) s/o (L) N Jateshwor Singh of Sawombung Gate on May 19.
