IMPHAL, Jun 30 (DIPR) : Under the programme of Small Wind Energy and Hybrid System (SWES) of Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Govt of India, had implemented 14 Wind-Solar Hybrid Systems in the State with a capacity of 10 kwp each for electrification at 14 villages of the State. Manipur Renewable Energy Development Agency (MANIREDA) is responsible for the selection of the villages after conducting wind resource assessment to the hilly sites where wind energy can be tapped for power generation.
