IMPHAL, Jul 14: A combined team of Imphal West district police commando and 12 Bihar Regiment arrested two cadres of outlawed RPF/PLA cadres yesterday from Kwakeithel. According to a source, the two arrested RPF/PLA cadres have been identified as Maibam Kumar (60) of Kwakeithel Heinoukhong-nembi and Pebam Ahanjao alias Diesel (44) of Kwakeithel Lamdong. One Maruti Alto car and two mobile handsets were recovered from them. The source also said that the two cadres were involved in carrying out extortion on Ngari traders and Govt officials. They have been handed over to Singjamei PS.
