IMPHAL, Nov 15 : Stating that the media houses in Manipur are facing severe inconveniences after the Government decided to demonetise Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes, the All Manipur Newspaper Publishers’ Association has today stated that it will not be in a position to accept the demonetised notes any longer and urged the distributors/hawkers to deposit only the legal tenders.

New Delhi, Nov 15 : The Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to stay the November 8 Government notification demonetising Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency and asked the Centre to take immediate measures to alleviate the hardships and sufferings of the traumatised common man who is “forced” to stand in queues to withdraw a little bit of his own hard-earned money.
