Taking the volatile situation in the State into consideration due to the ongoing economic blockade, the Manipur Democratic People Front (MDPF) has appealed to the Prime Minister to advise the President of India to direct the ECI to postpone the scheduled Assembly election instantly in the larger interest of the citizens of the land. The election may be held later when the situation is conducive, said MDPF.
