Army chief Rawat briefed on North-East security situation on his maiden visit

GUWAHATI, Jan 24: On his maiden visit to Eastern Command as Army chief on Tuesday, General Bipin Rawat visited the headquarters of the strategic “IV Corps” in Assam’s Tezpur where he was briefed on the security situation in the Corps, both from external and internal security point of view, by Corps commander Lt Gen AS Bedi.
