IMPHAL, Mar 1 : A surveillance team of the Investigation Wing of the Income Tax Department raided and searched the residence of of a businessman at Wahengbam Leikai in connection with the coming Assembly election today. A reliable source identified the businessman as one L Tarpon and added that he is close to a Congress leader. The IT team conducted the search at his residence in connection with the coming Assembly election, said the source.
