IMPHAL, Jul 24: The JAC against the mysterious death of Palmei Kaguisinlu of Sairem Sawombung and Police led by SP of Imphal East K Kabib reached at an agreement over the death of Kaguisinlu today.
As such, the JAC has decided to defer its proposed total shutdown along Imphal-Ukhrul road for three days.
According to a statement issued by the JAC, a team of the JAC and the Police held a meeting today. After a long deliberation, the two parties reached at an agreement. Subsequently, the JAC has decided to defer its proposed shutdown along Imphal-Ukhrul road for three days.
Conveying that it is waiting prompt action from the authority concerned to solve the matter, the JAC at the same time, has warned of launching series of agitation if things do not turn out satisfactorily.
