Bishnupur: Condemning the transfer of four teachers from Kumbi Government High School, students of the school conducted a rally from the school till Kumbi Bazar today.
The transfer of teachers is the result of a new policy which has been recently introduced by the State Government and amidst the lack of teachers at the school, serving of transfer orders to four teachers aggravated the school staff and the students.
A student who took part in the rally asserted that the rally was held despite the school exam which the students take it as meaningless without the teachers.
The students urged the authority concerned to revoke the transfer order and to fill the vacant seats of the teachers in the school.
