UTLA/UTLF clarifies

The outlawed United Tribal Liberation Army (UTLA/UTLF) has informed today that the organisation is not involved in the killing of an innocent person (L) Ranjen Das, and in the kidnapping of a NFR Engineer who were abducted in the Vangai range for a ransom.

(UTLA/UTLF) has appealed to all underground outfits that kidnapping, killing of innocent people, ransom and other such as keeping in hostage are strictly unwanted, said a release signed by T.   Robert Singson, general secretary, UTLA/UTLF. The organisation has appealed not to indulge in such a crime against humanity in the Vangai range, it said.
