NEW DELHI, Aug 21:A youth out on a morning walk with his friends drowned at Hauz Khas lake after allegedly jumping in to take a dip. The 21-year-old named Horthan had come to Delhi from Manipur last month in search of a job. Delhi Police said they are probing if it is a case of suicide.

A press release issued by KBBWA secretary stated that the resolution to withdraw the stance was adopted after the Council, in a joint meeting with Kakching CSOs, MLAs of Kakching and Wabagai ACs, assured to halt the construction work of 64 stall building (Kakching supermarket) and to hear the pleas and demands of the association and women vendors.
