IMPHAL, Sep 10: Various Tribal, Philanthropic and Students organisations of Churachandpur will organise a reception for Chief Minister N Biren Singh on September 12 at Hiangtam Lamka public ground and apprise the CM about the development of the district.
A press release jointly issued by the president of Hmar Inpi, president of Kuki Inpi Churachandpur, president of Mizo People Convention and chairman of Zomi Council, stated that the reception organising committee will submit a memorandum requesting the creation of a regional campus of Manipur University, a medical college and BEd College in Churachandpur as well as improvement of various infrastructure like roads and water supply.
