The UN Security Council monitors peace and security situation all over the globe. The veto members play monopolistic roles sidelining other country’s agenda. In the globalization era; developing countries desire membership in both veto and non veto power to increase so as to suit the changing environment. The restructuring will certainly offer more participation; positively reducing monocracy in decision making approach. India in particular asked for the enlargement of the Security Council.
