TENGNOUPAL, Oct 11: Tengnoupal district police carried out drive against liquor vendors at Moreh and also pushed back Myanmar Nationals who were found on the Indian side after the permitted time of 4 pm. According to reliable source, a team of Moreh police station, under the supervision of Tengnoupal SP, S Ibomcha, carried out drive against illegal liquor vendors at Moreh and seized huge quantities of liquors and beer from the vendors.
The seized items were later handed over to the Excise Department for taking up necessary actions.
On the other hand, Myanmar Nationals who were found in different places of Moreh town after the permitted time of 4 pm, were pushed back to Myanmar side by the Moreh police team.
