IMPHAL, Oct 11: The two days National Symposium on ‘Emerging and Re-Emerging Plant Diseases in North East India : Challenges and Strategies’ of Indian phytopathological concluded today at ICAR Research complex for NEH Region, Manipur Centre, Lamphelpat. A press release issued by the PRO, Manipur University, stated that MU Vice Chancellor, Professor Adya Prasad Pandey, Joint Director, ICAR Manipur Centre , and Zonal President, Indian Phytopathological Society, Dr N Prakash and Director, Department of Horticulture and Soil Conservation, Government of Manipur, K Kipgen, attended the event as the chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.
