Six days long campaign and observation of Swachh Bharata Mission under IEC, 2016-2017 was kicked off today with a mass rally by the Lilong Imphal West Nagar Panchayat in Lilong Chajing area.
Speaking to media, vice chairperson of Lilong Imphal West Nagar Panchayat, Saram Sanatombi said that the main theme of the mission is to keep the society clean to prevent from harmful diseases and pollution.
He continued that as part of the campaign, painting, debate and essay competition will be organised for the students from Classes I to X.
