Oak Tasar Krishi Mela held

The Regional Tasar Research Station, Central Silk Board organized “Oak Tasar Krishi Mela” at the regional research station at Mantripukhri today.

The function was attended by parliamentary secretary of sericulture, Awangbow Newmai as the chief guest. Director of sericulture, S Kunjakishore Singh and Dr Ajit Kumar Sinha, director of Central Tasar Research and Training Institute were the guest of honor and president respectively.

The function was formally inaugurated by the chief guest and opened an exhibition displaying various sericulture items and farming methods. Prizes were distributed to the Oak Tasar farmers.
