IMPHAL, Dec 26: Acting on a proposal submitted by All Manipur Nupi Maanbi Association (AMANA) to the RIMS Medical Superintendent, the hospital has allotted a separate waiting seat for transgenders at its OPD counter area to avoid misunderstanding and discrimination against the transgender community pertaining to heathcare services.
