THOUBAL, Dec 29: A legal awareness programme was held in connection with the opening of a legal aid clinic at Sora, today.
Organised by District Legal Service Authority, Thoubal under the aegis of Manipur State Legal Service Authority, the clinic was inaugurated by District and Session Judge, Thoubal Salam Imocha. Speaking as resource persons at the programme, Advocates Y Mohendro and N Modhu stressed on land laws, drug abuse and experience in legal aid clinic. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thoubal A Shanti Devi and JMI, Thoubal Sadananda also took part in the programme. S Imocha also inaugurated another legal aid clinic at Lilong Arapati.
