DM Thoubal, Haobam Rosita issued a prohibitory order under sub section 2 of section 144 CrPC, prohibiting assembly of 5 five or more persons which are likely to create law and order problem in Thoubal district to ensure that no untoward unwanted incidents occur during the conduct of the upcoming 17th Lok Sabha election 2019 and also prohibited banned carrying of sticks, stones, licensed arms, firearms, weapons and other explosive materials including fire crackers with immediate effect from 6 pm of March 11, 2019 and until further orders, informed a statement released by DM, Thoubal Source The Sangai Express
