As per the Minimum Standards Requirement for a Medical College for 100 Admissions Annually Regulations, 1999 issued by the Medical Council of India, Governor of Manipur has placed PHSC, Kshetrigao, Imphal East and CHC, Wangoi, Imphal West with all infrastructures under the direct administrative control of Director, JN Institute of Medical Sciences JNIMS , Porompat for use as Urban Training Health Centre and the Rural Health Training Centre of JNIMS respectively with immediate effect, according to a statement issued by Under Secretary Health FW Source Hueiyen News Service
