Gautam Thokchom, CEO Zeenova Inc and Co-Founder and VP Eng and Strategy, Akasia Inc. said that entrepreneurship is an absolute freedom what a man wants whatever he wants to do. It is not about dreaming but to act. Entrepreneurs should not be considered as people who are earning money for themselves, but as people who are contributing to the society by providing employment to many jobless.
He said advised the aspiring entrepreneurs to not lose heart at the initial failure, but to work harder.
Delivering his speech as resource person, Managing Director of Globizs Web Solution Roshinikumar Yambem said for every entrepreneur, learning ‘failed fast, succeed fast is a must. A business cannot succeed without experiencing failures in the initial stage. Success stories of many entrepreneurs were scripted after experiencing failures.
Entrepreneurs are new kind of breeds among human beings. Society is the stakeholder of the entrepreneurs’ business enterprise. When the entrepreneurs fall down, the society too falls down. In the context of Manipur, knowledge sharing and mutual co-operation among the entrepreneurs is very poor. For achieving success in business, knowledge sharing and support among the entrepreneurs is a must, he observed.
He said that a budding entrepreneur, before launching his product, should have a clear cut long vision, good business plan and the scope of customers who would use the product. Without customers, every business flops.
