IMPHAL, Aug 12: The proscribed KCP (MC) has shown regards to the departed leaders of the state on the occasion of 120th Patriots` Day to be observed widely on August 13.
A statement of the outfit signed by assitant secretary Korouhanba stated that the great leaders of Manipur had fought valiantly against the mighty British rulers. Bir Tikendrajit, Thangal General and other partrios had laid down their lives at the gallows for the sake of the motherland.
The people should pay due regards to the departed patriots and fulfill their wishes for an independent Manipur, it added.
