IMPHAL, Aug 9: A hand grenade left by unidentified persons was found in a paddy field at Haraorou village under Sagolmang Police Station, Imphal East district today around 2.30.
The paddy field lies around 5 km south of Sagolmang Police Station. It was come across by a cattle grazer.
On receiving the news, a team of police bomb expert arrived and retrieved the bomb. Later, it was set exploded in a safer place around 6 pm of the day.
