State level seminar held

IMPHAL, Jul 2: A State level seminar on ‘Political and Development Discourse’ with special reference to Phungyar Assembly Constituency and hill areas was organized at Phungyar headquarters under the aegis of Phungyar Area Development Initiative (PADI) with the participation of 32 headmen, hundreds of concerned elders, social workers, Church leaders, representatives of youth and women on June 24. The State level public discourse was declared opened by Phungyar Headquarters headman AS Shimreishang in the presence of resource persons namely Daniel Ramsan, Jubilate Kazingmei and Dr Ershilia Jajo. The day-long seminar was sponsored by Tribal Research Institute, Manipur, informed a statement.
