The JAC formed in connection with the brutal killing of Chawkidar of Irilbung water Supply Scheme and his son demanded resignation of CE, PHED on moral ground or govt. should terminate the CE as he failed to bear the responsibility of the father son abduction. Actions should also be taken against the officials of Home deptt. as they could not save the chawkidar and his son. The govt. should pursue the killings and appropriate punishment should be awarded only then the last rites of them will be held, according to JAC.
