Altogether 516 bottles of Indian made foreign liquor and imported foreign liquors worth Rs three lakhs were burnt dawn at the head office of Excise deptt, Lamphelpat today.
The special enforcement team, excise seized the liquors in a raid from the shop of Chandu Thangal Bazar.
A salesman Rajesh was also arrested from the shop, said K. Joykumar, assistant commissioner of excise.
It is learnt that some persons are organizing party or open bar. Foreign liquors running army or check forces of supplied the same to the people. He appealed all to stop it.
