Tengnoupal: The Opiod Substitution Therapy (OST) centre in PHC, Moreh which was established in 2014 has been functioning without proper manpower, fund and staff.
Speaking to media persons, MO in charge of the PHC Dr Santikumar stated that, earlier, Manipur Aids Control Society (MACS) had sanctioned maintenance fund for five months and sent a doctor to look after the centre.
He further stated that the centre has 122 clients from different areas of the State as well as from Myanmar.
He urged MACS to send the required staff at the centre at the earliest to keep the OST centre functional.
