30 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) organised a Medical camp on 12 May 12 at Lanthung Ching village in the Imphal West district. Moreover combined team of doctors from 30 Assam Rifles and RIMS hospital addressed the locals and educated them on the need of the hygiene and sanitation and precautions to be taken to avoid sexually transmitted diseases. The camp was a huge success and including children and women a total of approx 243 patients were rendered medical attention and medicines were also distributed to them.
