Imphal, Jan 4: The Directorate of Transport has issued an order specifying that the maximum tonnage permissible for trucks/tankers/LPG bullets is 25 tons inclusive of the weight of the vehicle, having 10 wheels, with two in the front axle, four in the middle and another four in the rear axle in respect of Imphal-Dimapur sector while it is 24 tons in respect of Imphal-Jiribam sector.
