30 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector under aegis of HQ IGAR(S) organized an Eye Care Medical Camp at Koirengei on 08 Jul 12. The Eye Care Camp was conceived based on the need for Eye Care felt by the population of the area. A team of specialists from RIMS Imphal under Dr Chingsui provided free consultation and medicines to almost 500 patients from the areas of Khurukhul, Nilakuti, Mantripukhri and Sawombung. People requiring corrective operations including cataract removal etc were given appointments for free operations in RIMS Imphal.
