MNS: 5/9 Gorkha Rifles celebrated their 47th Battle Honour Day which was conferred to them for the battle of Phillora in Pakistan during the 1965 Indo Pak War.
The event was held at Gothal which was graced by Brig PC Nair Commander Loktak Brigade. The locals of the area enjoyed the various cultural programme organised by the Phillora Battalion where the soldiers of 5/9 Gorkha Rifles showcased various martial and traditional Nepali folk dances.
