: Seven NSCN-IM cadres were among the nine UG arrested by the security force within the last two days said a police source on Friday.
On 3-10-12 at around 10:45 pm a team of 9 Dogra Regiment arrested seven NSCN-IM cadres from Kabongam village under Tamei police station in Tamenglong distirct.
The seven NSCN-IM cadres were identified as Adan Panmei 42 son of Tinsung Panmei of Dailong village, Tamenglong, Tuak Tangner 32 son of Adai Danfenei of Tamenglong, Gaigonglong 32 son of late Keang of Noney village in Tamenglong District, Adim Golmei 21 son og Obet Golmei of Tamenglong, Aphun Rengmei 39 son of Nomthai Gengmei of Tamenglong, Denaya Gonei 19 son of Semeon of Tamenglong and Charles Kamei 39 so of Tinthekhar of NOney village of Tamenglong District.
From the said above person one AK-56 rifles along 2 magazines and 109 live round, one 9mm pistol along seven rounds and a magazine, one hand grenade and one Maruti car bearing registration number NL07-5780 were recovered and a case under FIR number 527 (10) Imphal police station under section 400 IPC 25 (1-c), arms ct and 5 explosive substance Act was registered.
Again on Oct. 4 at aound 8:35 am a team of Imphal west police commandosn arrested one KYKL activists fro Thangal Bazar identified as Laishram Kunjakishor aka Kiran 36.
Later, the same day at about 11:40 am one active members of URF apprehended again from Kwakeithel Mayaikoibi under Lamphel police station who identified as one Moirangthem Ibomcha singh 42 son of Irabot o thanga Moirangthem Leikai sad a police source. UNA
